Description

Mitchell was charged with assaulting white Syracuse police officer Lisa Phalen-Bastedo. The incident arose out of a simple neighborhood dispute over the conduct of neighborhood children. His attorney charged that minorities were excluded from the Onondaga County Grand Jury System.
