Description
Mrs. Williams talks about where she was born and the difficulties she and her family faced moving around the country and trying to find work during the Great Depression. "Before Syracuse... Bermuda (until 1924)." The Methodist Ministry brings Joseph Willard Miller and Ersel Carmen Swan together in matrimony, and creates opportunity for travel across the United States. Mrs. Williams describes how she was born in St. George's Bermuda. She describes how her father was a pastor, her mother an organist, and how they met and had a family. Mrs. Williams also describes the places that she and her family members lived and worked in 20th Century America.
