Elizabeth Page's grandfather, Joseph David Jones, father of Sammie Elizabeth Jones Page (Elizabeth's mother), Julia Brown, Ola Williams Page, Dorothy Hylton, Ulysses, LeRoy (Bud), and Ernest. Married to Rose Thompson. When she died, her sister Eva came to live with Joseph to take care of the kids. After a few years, Joseph and Eva married. Joseph David Jones of Clinton, MS. He was a slave. He died in the 1940s. Description verso: Grandfather Joseph David Jones to granddaughter Elizabeth Ann Page with love.
