Daniel Page: obituary (1922-09-07) and newspaper article "Daniel Page, 72, an emancipated slave, dies here" published when Elizabeth Page's grandfather, Daniel Page, died. He founded Bethany Baptist Church, which was originally Union Baptist, in 1884. It was renamed because a white church was already called Union Baptist.
